Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your device. Some are needed to make the site work at all. Others are optional, and we only use those if you agree.
The ones we cannot switch off
These make the website function. Without them, things like the quote form would not work.
- WordPress and Elementor cookies — remember your session, keep forms working and stop them being abused. They expire when you close your browser, or within a few days.
- Your cookie choice — one cookie remembering what you picked on the banner, so we do not ask you again on every page. Lasts up to 12 months.
The ones you can turn off
- Google Maps — our quote form shows a map and works out the distance between your two addresses. Google sets cookies when the map loads. See Google’s privacy notice for what they do with them.
- HubSpot — helps us see how people find and use the site, and links an enquiry to the pages that led to it.
- Mailchimp — used only if you have joined our mailing list, to see whether our emails are worth sending.
[TO FILL IN] If you add Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any advertising tag later, add a line for it here. Listing a cookie you do not set is as much of a problem as missing one you do.
Changing your mind
Click the cookie link in the footer to reopen the banner and change your choices. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings at any time — every browser has a way of doing this, usually under Privacy or History. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site working.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no agreed standard for what a website should do with it, so we do not currently respond to it. Use the cookie banner instead — that we do act on.
